AIS Data Centers Orchestrates Fast, Seamless IT Infrastructure Move for CPU Medical Management Systems

SAN DIEGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–AIS Data Centers, the Southwest market leader for business-ready IT infrastructure, today announced that it recently orchestrated a seamless IT infrastructure move for CPU Medical Management Systems. With a 60 day timeline, AIS completed the move for CPU, a leading provider of cloud-based healthcare information systems for physician organizations and billing services, in less than one month.

“AIS made what could have been a very stressful process absolutely painless for our company and our customers”

“AIS understood and met CPU’s pressing need for a fast and seamless transition of their IT infrastructure along with protection of their sensitive data assets,” said Greg Rollet, CEO for AIS.

CPU had a set 60 day timeline for completing the transfer. The AIS infrastructure team organized and completed the company’s IT infrastructure transition within 30 days, ensuring business continuity and compliance for CPU.

AIS planned and executed the move of CPU’s entire IT infrastructure into the AIS Lightwave Data Center (LWDC), one of the six enterprise-class, carrier-neutral data centers AIS operates. The 80,000 square-foot purpose-built colocation and cloud services data center is SSAE 16-compliant and a SOC 1, 2 and 3 audited facility. The LWDC has 2N power distribution redundancy and at least N+1 redundancy on all critical infrastructure systems, as well as the highest security protocols, all of which support CPU in maintaining continuous operations and HIPAA compliance.

Throughout the move, AIS provided complete end-to-end outsourcing to safely transport servers, storage and network components, reinstalling all equipment and systems at LWDC and using data migration best practices at every step. Going forward, AIS will provide ongoing colocation services for CPU, including space, power, bandwidth, data protection and environmentals to support the company’s entire IT infrastructure.

“AIS made what could have been a very stressful process absolutely painless for our company and our customers,” said Eric Sellers, President of CPU Medical Management Systems. “Within a matter of weeks, AIS facilitated our transition, keeping careful watch over all of the moving parts and protecting our data and our business along the way.”
