WAYNE COUNTY OFFICIALS TO APPLY FOR CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE FUNDS

WOOSTER, Ohio — When Wayne County officials submit the latest Community Development Block Grant application they will do something, they have rarely done: Apply for critical infrastructure funds. West Salem leaders are looking to address flood and drainage issues in the village, and they are seeking $254,000. This project will drain areas along West Buckeye Street that become flooded during heavy and/or prolonged periods of rain, according to the grant application
