The main objective of this workshop is to discuss and analyse emerging trends in the protection of critical infrastructures that have a strong dependence on communication networks. Uncertainties stemming from challenges of various sorts (complexity of operation, overload conditions, disasters and attacks) make it difficult to guarantee safe and secure operation. The aim of this workshop is to bring together experts with complementary backgrounds to report on a better understanding of the key challenges that must be addressed to protect our critical infrastructures in the future.
